Mittlerweile ist auch bekannt, welche Technik innerhalb der PSP2 steckt. Demnach nutzt man eine ARM Cortex-A9 CPU mit 4 Kernen und eine PowerVR SGX543MP4+ GPU mit ebenfalls 4 Kernen. Dies würde das Gerät zum mit Abstand stärksten Gerät im mobilen Sektor machen. Interessant wäre natürlich dabei die Akkulaufzeit, aber hier hält man sich bei Sony bedeckt.
